Saturnalia Village Rooms is the newest accommodation offered by Fattoria La Maliosa, located in the heart of the picturesque Tuscan village of Saturnia. Housed in the fully restored “Dimora Ximenes,” a historic building dating back to the 1600s, the five rooms blend rustic charm with a country-chic design. The renovation aimed to preserve the building’s rich history while emphasizing sustainability. Local materials, such as stone, chestnut beams, and bricks, were carefully integrated, and efforts were made to eliminate plastic throughout the property, showcasing our commitment to both tradition and the environment.
This enchanting retreat offers a unique blend of historic architecture and modern comforts, with a refined and welcoming style. The five spacious and bright double rooms, each featuring king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms, provide maximum privacy and comfort. Guests are also invited to unwind in the communal living room, which includes a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for enjoying breakfast or a light snack. Fresh water and coffee are always available for guests free of charge.
Saturnalia Village Rooms serves as the perfect base for exploring the Maremma region, offering a variety of unique experiences. Guests can immerse themselves in the Tuscan farm lifestyle, savor natural wines and olive oils, relax in the nearby hot springs, or enjoy a meal at our Saturnalia Wine Bar in the village square. Within a short drive, visitors can also explore some of Italy’s most beautiful villages, including Pitigliano, Sovana, Montemerano, and Sorano.
